WIP: Macchi MC 202 Folgore Italeri 1/72 Parte 2

Depois de terminar o Corsair agora é hora de adiantar a reforma do Folgore da Italeri. Já havia feito o pré-shading junto com os outros kits que estou montando (Firefly e Fulmar). O primeiro passo foi pintar o spinner e a faixa da fuselagem em branco.
After finishing the Corsair, now is the time to go ahead with the renovation of the Italeri's Folgore. I had already pre-shaded along with the other kits I'm building (Firefly and Fulmar). The first step was to paint the spinner and fuselage strip in white.

Essa faixa vem em forma de decal no kit, mas achei melhor pintar.
This band comes in the decal sheet, but I think it is better painted.

Na parte inferior da fuselagem usei a tinta Revell 43 como "Grigio Ciaro" procurando deixar aparecer um pouco do pré-shading. Depois foi feito o mascaramento com fita Tamiya para adicionar a cor base da parte superior.

At the bottom of the fuselage I used the Revell 43 paint as "Grigio Ciaro" trying to let some of the pre-shading appear. Then masking was done with Tamiya tape to add the base color of the top.

Nesse momento, considerei algumas opções para a fazer a famosa camuflagem "smoke ring" dos caças italianos da IIGM. Ou seja, seria possível fazer a base na cor "areia" Revell 88, e as manchas em verde escuro Revell 40 com pincel ou aerógrafo. Devido a escala, fazer com pincel fica um pouco artificial, por outro lado com aerógrafo é bem difícil.
Outras opções são decais como esse abaixo (veja o link no fim do post onde encontrar), ou então fazer invertido, ou seja com o verde escuro no fundo e o areia sobre esse.
At that moment, I considered some options for making the famous "smoke ring" camouflage of the Italian WWII fighters. It would be possible to make the base in the color "sand" Revell 88, and the rings in dark green Revell 40 with brush or airbrush. Due to the scale, doing with brush gets a bit artificial, on the other hand with airbrush is quite difficult.
Other options are decals like this below (see the link at the end of the post where you find it), or else do inverted, that is with the dark green in the background and the sand on it.

Minha opção, foi fazer o mais difícil, creio eu! Fazer o fundo claro e os "smokes rings" no "braço". Parte desta decisão se deve ao fato de recentemente eu ter comprado um aerógrafo Tamiya ultra fine 0,2mm. 
My choice was to make the most difficult, I guess! Make the light background and "smokes rings" by hand. Part of this decision is due to the fact that recently I bought an Tamiya ultra fine 0.2mm airbrush.

E posso dizer que não foi fácil, mas depois de alguns retoques a pintura ficou satisfatória. Então, mesmo fazendo pouco tempo que voltei a aerografar até que não ficou ruim.
And I can say that it was not easy, but after a few touch-ups the painting was satisfactory. So even though I did not airbrush it until recently it did not turn out bad.

A fita Tamiya que me traiu e acabou retirando um pouco da tinta das hélices. Vamos lá com mais alguns retoques.
The Tamiya tape betrayed me and ended up removing some of the paint from the propellers. Let's do few more touche-ups again.

Agora é finalizar as peças menores (antenas, trem de pouso etc...) e partir para pós shading e vernizes!

Now is to finalize the smaller parts (antennas, landing gear etc ...) and go for post shading and varnishes!
