WIP: Douglas A 4A (A 4D-1) Skyhawk Airfix 1/72 Parte 3
Vamos avançando com o Skyhawk, correndo contra o tempo para terminar esse kit antes do Open do IPMS Santa Maria!
Depois de terminar todas as correções que requeriam massa e muita lixa passamos para o pré-shading, feito com tinta Revell preto.
We're moving forward with the Skyhawk, running up against time to finish this kit before the Santa Maria IPMS Open!
After finishing all the corrections that required lots of putty and sandpaper we moved to the pre-shading, made with black Revell enamel paint.
A partir do pré-shading já podemos passamos para a pintura, com o branco nas partes inferiores, ailerons e profundores. Lembrando que nos Skyhawks desta versão o leme não era pintado de branco como foi feito posteriormente. Nesse momento todas as outras peças pintadas de branco já foram pintadas e guardadas para posterior montagem.
From the pre-shading we can already move to the painting, with the white on the bottom, ailerons and rudder. Recalling that in the Skyhawks of this version the rudder was not painted white as it was done later. At that moment all other pieces painted in white have already been painted and stored for later assembly.
Na parte superior do kit tive um pouco mais de trabalho pois precisei pintar o painel "anti-glare" a frente do cockpit e a pintura do VA 34 em azul no cockpit e no leme. Aproveitei o cinza mais escuro para pintar também a MK 12 para contrastar melhor com o fundo branco da parte de baixo do kit.
At the top of the kit I had a little more work because I had to paint the anti-glare panel in front of the cockpit and paint the VA 34 colors on the cockpit and the rudder. I used the darker gray also paint the MK 12 to better contrast with the white background on the bottom of the kit.
Agora com todas as principais peças pintadas, vamos partir para o verniz, washing, weathering e decais...
Now with all the pieces painted, lets go to varnishes, washing, weathering and decals...

O mesmo foi feito com os tanques subalares e a nossa bomba nuclear MK 12 que aqui aparece praticamente pronta. O resultado do trabalho nessa peça ficou razoável, embora creio que o formato da bomba não esteja 100% correto, porém resolvi usar essa mesmo e quem sabe outra hora troco por outro tipo de armamento.
The same was done with the subalar tanks and our MK 12 nuclear bomb that appears here almost ready. The result of the work in this piece was reasonable, although I believe that the shape is not 100% correct, but I decided to use that anyway and maybe another time I will change for another type of weaponry.
