Acabei de adquirir o terceiro volume da Enciclopédia de Técnicas de plastimodelismo do Diego Quijano. E novamente fiquei bem impressionado com o livro.

Este volume trata sobre técnicas de pintura, pós o trabalho com as partes internas e montagens básicas do avião já estarem concluídas.

I just purchased the third volume of Diego Quijano's Encyclopedia of Aircraft Modeling Techniques and again I'm very impressed with the book.

This volume deals with painting techniques, post work of the internal parts and basic assemblies of the aircraft already been completed.

Então desde o básico como a preparação do kit para a pintura é tratado, como limpeza, separação das peças e mascaramento das partes já concluídas.

So from the basics how the preparation of the paint kit is treated, such as cleaning, separating the parts and masking the ready completed parts.

Depois o livro trás uma série de capítulos com técnicas de pintura, tanto as mais comuns como o pré shading, acabamento brilhante e em metal natural até as mais complexas, como modulações, esfumaçados, pós shading (incluindo variações destas técnicas).

Then the book brings a series of chapters with painting techniques, both the most common like pre-shading, glossy finish and natural metal to the most complex, such as modulations, mottling, post shading (including variations of these techniques).

Após temos demonstrações sobre técnicas de envelhecimento e detalhamento como descascados, pinturas de inverno, texturas e relevos.

Afterwards we have demonstrations about wheathering techniques and detailing such as scratches, chiping, winter paintings, textures and reliefs.

Então, temos o trabalho de aplicação dos decais, máscaras e transfers.

At the end we have the work with decals, transfers and masking for the markings of the plane.
