WALKAROUND: Boeing B17 Fortaleza Voadora da FAB!

Olá pessoal!
Agora que vou voltar a trabalhar na B 17F da Academy podemos nos inspirar com alguns posts interessantes. E esse é um destes posts sobre essa mítica aeronave da Segunda Guerra Mundial, que voou com as cores da FAB nos anos 50-60 e que também marca um sonho, que é estar frente a frente com um meus aviões preferidos.
Now that I'm going back to work at Academy's B 17F we can be inspired by some interesting posts. And this is on of these posts about this mythical aircraft of World War II, which flew with the colors of the FAB in the years 50-60 and which also marks a dream, which is to be face to face with one of my favorite planes.

Eu acabei encontrando essa beleza em Recife, mais precisamente na frente da Base Aérea de Recife, que fica junto ao aeroporto da mesma cidade. Essa é uma das duas únicas B-17 preservadas no Brasil. E tendo estado nessa cidade à trabalho, não pude de deixar de visitar a mesma um pouco antes de pegar o avião de volta para casa. Valeu muito a pena! Abaixo algumas fotos e o álbum completo no link.
I ended up finding this beauty in Recife, more precisely in front of the Recife Air Base, which is next to the airport of the city. This is one of only two B-17 preserved in Brazil. And having been to this city to work, I must visiting it a little before getting the plane back home. Worth it! Below are some photos and the complete album in the link.
