NEWS: HobbyBoss A-4E Skyhawk 1/72

Finalmente saiu o Skyhawk na 1/72 da Hobbyboss! A espera de uns 4 anos terminou na forma do A-4E com marcações da Navy da era Vietnã.

Finally the 1/72 scale Skyhawk from Hobbyboss came out! The wait of about 4 years ended in the shape of the A-4E with markings of Navy of the Vietnam era.

Infelizmente a Hobbyboss foi bem conservadora e apresentou apenas decais para o VA-72 e o VA-212, no tradicional esquema Light Gull Gray e White. Para quem esperava Aggressors ou IDF o lançamento deixa a desejar nesse quesito.

Unfortunately Hobbyboss was very conservative and presented only decals for the VA-72 and VA-212, in the traditional Light Gull Gray and White scheme. For those who expected Aggressors or IDF the release leaves us a little sad.

Ainda não tive acesso a imagens melhores ou um review do kit, mas de maneira geral os formatos não apresentam nenhum erro muito grande. Pena que não temos opção de slats, flaps e freios aerodinâmicos abertos.

I have not had access to better pictures yet or a review of the kit, but in general the shape do not present any big errors. Too bad we have no option of slats, flaps and airbrakes opened.

Uma das coisas mais interessantes e estranhas do kit é a árvore de armamentos que é um aproveitamento do kit do A-7 Corsair II da própria Hobbyboss. Nela estão as Mk 81 ou 82 (?), AIM-9B, um tanque auxiliar que não é de A-4 e um pod FLIR AN/ARR-45 usado pelo Corsair.

One of the most interesting and strange things of the kit is the weapon sprue that is from the kit of the Hobbyboss Corsair A-7. In it are the Mk 81 or 82 (?), AIM-9B, an auxiliary tank and a FLIR AN / ARR-45 pod used by the Corsair.

Poderia ser um kit melhor, creio que sim, mas como estamos esperando um Scooter novo faz tempo a chegada é muito bem vinda!

It could be a better kit, I think so, but as we are waiting for a new Scooter for a long time the arrival is very welcome!
