REVIEW: Aerógrafo Iwata Eclipse Airbrush

Novamente um review de aerógrafo aqui no blog! A bola da vez é a marca sonho de consumo de muitos modelistas e artistas, o Iwata by Anest Iwata! O modelo que vou testar foi adquirido em uma promoção no oriente e é o conhecido "faz tudo" da marca, o Eclipse HP-CS.

Again an airbrush review here on the blog! The choice of the moment is the dream brand of many modelers and artists, the Iwata by Anest Iwata! The model I'm going to test was purchased in a promotion and is the well-known "does everything" from the brand, the Eclipse HP-CS.

Esse modelo é uma das opções de entrada da marca, com agulha 0,35 e copo de 0,7ml. O aerógrafo vem embalado em uma caixa de papel reforçada, com sobre capa e berço de EVA. Acompanha o manual do produto, um adesivo com o logo da Iwata, um lubrificante e a chave para abrir o bico do equipamento. Interessante que uma pequena folha com o teste de fábrica também é enviada com o aerógrafo.
This model is one of the entry options of the brand, with 0.35 needle and cup of 0,7ml. The airbrush comes packed in a reinforced paper box with envelope and EVA cradle. Follow the product manual, a sticker with the Iwata logo, a lubricant and the key to open the nozzle of the equipment. Interesting that a small sheet with the factory test is also shipped with the airbrush.

Esse modelo tem tamanho médio, com construção simples, sem regulagem do gatilho na ponta do cabo, totalmente cromado e coroa em duas peças.

This model is medium size, with simple construction, with no tip trigger adjustment, fully chromed and two-piece crown.

A ergonomia é bem boa, para o tamanho da minha mão pelo menos. Essa versão não tem aquele apoio para o dedo na base do corpo do aerógrafo característica de alguns outros modelos da Iwata.
The ergonomics are pretty good, for the size of my hand at least. This version does not have that "finger rest" at the base of the airbrush body, characteristic of some other Iwata models.

A desmontagem é bem simples, similar à maioria dos aerógrafos existentes no mercado. As peças são muito bem acabadas, tem apertos e encaixes precisos e a operação é macia, mas firme. Achei parecido com o acabamento dos Tamiya produzidos pela Richpen. Embora a agulha deste último me pareça melhor polida.

The disassembly is very simple, similar to most airbrushes on the market. The parts are very well finished, have precise grips and grooves and the operation is soft. I found it to be similar to the Tamiya finish produced by Richpen. Although, the needle of the latter seems better polished.

O desenho do copo e o acesso a entrada da agulha é muito bem feito, sendo muito fácil de limpar. Me pareceu bem similar ao aerógrafo da Sparmax Max3 que tenho.
The design of the cup and the access to the entrance of the needle is very well done, being very easy to clean. It seemed a lot like the Sparmax airbrush I got.

No teste de uso, na folha abaixo, podemos ver a versatilidade do equipamento desempenhando bem em linhas finas e grossas. Além disso, achei ele muito preciso e fácil de usar, inclusive para detalhes menores, ainda levando em conta que meu compressor está trabalhando com problemas na regulagem do ar.
In the using test, in addition to the sheet below, where we can see the versatility of the equipment, which performs well in thin and thick lines, I find it very accurate and easy to use. Even for minor details, even taking into account that my compressor is working with problems in the air pressure control.

Para concluir, estou bem satisfeito com o produto. É uma opção muito boa para quem quer trabalhar com apenas um aerógrafo e clama por qualidade e acabamento superior, com preço condizente.
To conclude, I am very satisfied with the product. It is a very good option for anyone who wants to work with just one airbrush and claims for quality and superior workmanship, with a good relation of cost benefit.
