REVIEW: Aerógrafo SPARMAX MAX-3 Airsbrush

Vamos fazer o review de mais uma aerógrafo, o Sparmax Max-3! A Sparmax é uma empresa taiwanesa especializada em aerógrafos, compressores e acessórios que tem mais de 30 anos de mercado. Recentemente a empresa dona da marca "Sparmax" formou uma joint venture com a nossa conhecida Anest Iwata Corp. Por aí já podemos ter uma ideia da qualidade dos produtos da marca, que inclusive, já produziu aerógrafos com marca Tamiya também.
Let's review another airbrush, the Sparmax Max-3! Sparmax is a Taiwanese company specialized in airbrushes, compressors and accessories that has more than 30 years. Recently the company owner of the brand "Sparmax" formed a joint venture with our well-known Anest Iwata Corp. From there we can already have an idea of the quality of the products of the brand, that also already produced for Tamiya brand as well.

O modelo que vamos testar é o Max 3, uma evolução do modelo DH-3, com agulha de tamanho 0,3mm e copo de 7cc com alimentação rápida. O aerógrafo vem embalado em uma pequena caixa plástica com berço em espuma e manuais de manutenção e garantia.
The model that we are going to test is the Max 3, an evolution of the model DH-3, with needle of size 0.3mm and 7cc cup with fast feeding. The airbrush comes packed in a small plastic box with foam nest and maintenance / warranty manuals.

O desenho do Max-3 é bem convencional, ao estilo dos Iwata e as incontáveis cópias chinesas, com corpo todo metálico, regulagem do avanço do gatilho, novo formato do copo e conta com chave para abertura do bico e válvula de acionamento simples.

The design of the Max-3 is quite conventional, Iwata-style and countless Chinese copies, with all-metal body, trigger advance regulation, new cup shape and features a nozzle opening key and single-acting valve.

A desmontagem é bem convencional, com as peças com ótimo acabamento, bem cromadas e com aperto bem justo. A agulha me pareceu bem polida e usinada.
The disassembly is very conventional, with pieces of great finishing, well chrome and with a tight fit. The needle seemed to me well polished and machined.

O gatilho é bem próximo ao copo, o que pode ser um pouco desconfortável para alguns usuários, no meu caso, não tive problemas. O desenho da parte inferior, comum em muitos aerógrafos, ajuda no conforto da mão.
The trigger is very close to the glass, which can be a bit uncomfortable for some users, in my case, I had no problems. The bottom design, common on many airbrushes, helps in the comfort of the hand.

Uma das coisas que mais gostei no Max-3 é o novo copo com alimentação mais direta, que facilita muito a lavagem da tinta.
One of the things I liked most about the Max-3 is the new, more direct feeding cup, which makes it much easier to clean it.

Falando do desempenho na pintura, o resultado foi bem satisfatório. Usei somente tintas acrílicas da AK nesse teste, sem diluição e com diluição da tinta. Em ambos os casos, o produto performou muito bem. É possível fazer linhas finas e grossas sem problemas, com nenhum tipo de "gospidas" ou "overspray" nos traços.

Regarding the performance in painting, the result was quite satisfactory. I used only AK acrylic paints in this test, with and without dilution. In both cases, the product performed very well. It is possible to make fine and thick lines without problems, with no type of "overspray" in painting.

Para concluir, considero o Sparmax Max-3 uma opção de ótimo custo benefício para o modelista, pois é um aerógrafo com muito boa qualidade, bem feito e ajustado com custo na média dos produtos nacionais (entre R$300,00 e R$360,00). Então, se você quer partir para uma ferramenta melhor que os tradicionais aerógrafos chineses ou nacionais mas não quer pagar a mais por um Iwata ou H&S, essa é uma bela opção.

To conclude, I consider the Sparmax Max-3 to be a very cost effective option for the modeler because it is an airbrush with very good quality, well done and adjusted with acceptable cost. So if you want to go for a better tool than the traditional cheap Chinese airbrushes but do not want to pay a lot for an Iwata or H & S, this is a good option.
