WIP: OA-4M Skyhawk Italeri 1/72 Parte 1

Dando sequência as montagens dos Scooters, também iniciei os trabalhos nesse OA-4M Skyhawk biplace da Italeri. Um kit de média qualidade, bom nível de detalhes e bons decais. Como é um dos dois únicos kits na escala desta versão, e como os Fujimi são dificeis de achar, é uma opção para quem quer reproduzir esse avião.
Continuing the assembly of the Scooters, I also started work on this OA-4M Skyhawk biplace from Italeri. A medium quality kit, good level of detail and good decals. As it is one of only two kits in the scale of this version, and as the Fujimi are hard to find, is an option for who wants to reproduce this airplane.

Creio que o que mais conta contra esse kit é o alto relevo nos painéis e o cockpit muito espartano. Tanto no que se refere aos assentos, quanto a parte lateral do cockpit, que inclusive precisa ser arrumada devido às marcas de pinos de extração do molde.
I think what counts most against this kit is the raised panels lines and the very simple cockpit. Both for the seats and the side of the cockpit, which even needs to be repaired due to the mold extraction pin marks.

Desta forma, se torna obrigatório um pouco de cuidado e trabalho nos assentos, painéis laterais e mais alguns ajustes.
In this way, a little care and work is required on the seats, side panels and some more adjustments.

Mas com algum cuidado e pouco scratch o cockpit pode ficar razoável.

Um ponto de atenção nesse kit da Italeri é o posicionamento do cockpit, pois ele fica muito para frente e alto se seguirmos as instruções de montagem. Desta forma fiz alguns ajustes na altura e recuei o mesmo, fazendo uma nova fixação na parte inferior.
A point of attention in this kit of Italeri is the positioning of the cockpit, because it is located too forward and tall if we follow the assembly instructions. In this way I made some adjustments in the height and retreated the same, making a new fixation in the inferior part.

Agora basta fechar a fuselagem, colar as asas e se preparar para a massa e o lixamento.
Now it is just glue together the fuselage and prepare to putty and sand.

O encaixe não é muito bom, sendo necessário alguns ajustes, até porque as modificações no cockpit deixaram as coisas um pouco mais apertadas.
The fit is not so good, there are some adjusts here and there due to the cockpit changes I made.

Para finalizar, wash na parte interna, alguns retoques e o HUD em scratch já que o kit nem menção faz do equipamento.
To finish, a wash on the cockpit, paint touch ups and a scratch HUD as the manufacturer forgot about it.
