WIP: HMS Obedient Tamiya 1/700 "O" Class Destroyer
In March of this year we held another workshop at the UPPA model club headquarters, this time with the theme "Naval Modelling". I decided to participate in the event, after all it was a topic that I am interested in and I used to built when I was a child. The event offered, in addition to the lecture and tips, a 1/700 scale "O Class" destroyer kit.
The headquarters was full, and as the event was open to everyone, many people from the community of scale modellers in the region attended. Our partner Mr. Luiz Liesenfeld, a renowned naval modeler, gave the lecture and helped us during the workshop.
We had a coffe in the afternoon and of course, a mini flea market.
After the lecture I start the build itself, a very simple one.
In a short time, the hull, islands and mast were already glued. Some tips helped to define what to assemble first, what to paint and when. But that would be the subject of another workshop, which was postponed by the pandemic. But that does not mean that the little ship has been stopped!
