REVIEW: AK Interactive WW2 IJN Aircraft Colors Set

Como já virou tradição, continuo revisando tintas acrílicas de vários fabricantes. Agora temos o set das tintas acrílicas da AK nas cores da Marinha Imperial Japonesa!
As it has become a tradition, I continue to review acrylic paints from various manufacturers. Now we have the set of AK acrylic paints in the colors of the Japanese Imperial Navy!

Mas antes, aproveitando o teste vamos dar uma olhada no Primer base água da mesma marca.
But first, taking advantage of the test let's take a look at the water based primer of the same brand.

Esse é o primer polimérico da marca, que eles chamam de "Waterborne Primer" e está disponível em várias cores. Tenho esse preto e usei para fazer a base de teste das tintas deste review.

This is the brand's polymeric primer, which they call "Waterborne Primer" and is available in several colors. I have this black one and used it to make the test basis for the paints in this review.

Esse primer pode ser diluído com o diluente acrílico da AK ou de outras marcas de tintas acrílicas. Fiz uma mistura de 70/30 e apliquei com cerca de 20 PSI. Achei o produto muito bom, com acabamento bem fino, acetinado e pelos testes que fiz., é muito aderente.

This primer can be diluted with AK acrylic thinner or other brands of acrylic paints. I made a mixture of 70/30 and applied it with about 20 PSI. I found the product very good, with a very fine satin finish and according to the tests I did, it is very adherent.

Mas vamos ao que interessa nesse post, as tintas! Esse set de tintas contém oito cores acrílicas da série AIR em tubos de 17ml. Ele trás praticamente todas as cores necessárias para pintar os aviões da IJN durante a II GM, do inicio ao fim e dos treinadores aos bombardeiros.

But let's get to what matters in this post, the paints! This set of paints contains eight acrylic colors from the AIR series in 17ml tubes. It brings practically all the colors necessary to paint IJN airplanes during II GM, from start to finish and from trainers to bombers.

Acabei  escolhendo esse set porque ele trás também cores para partes internas, que são as vezes bem controversas. Todas as cores foram aplicadas sobre o primer da AMMO, sem diluição e com pressão de cerca de 20 Psi.

I ended up choosing this set because it also brings colors for internal parts, which are sometimes very controversial. All colors were applied on the AMMO primer, without dilution and with a pressure of about 20 Psi.

Além das cores internas, o AK 2067: M2 (M) Mitsubishi Interior Grey e o AK 2068: M3 (N) Nakajima Interior Green o set apresenta as controversas cores dos Zero iniciais da guerra, o clássico cinza caramelo (Amber gray) e o cinza claro Hai Iro. Gostei muito dos tons dos dois, me pareceram bem próximos ao que vemos nas referencias.

In addition to the internal colors, the AK 2067: M2 (M) Mitsubishi Interior Gray and the AK 2068: M3 (N) Nakajima Interior Green the set features the controversial colors of the initial Zeros of the war, the classic Amber gray and the light gray Hai Iro. I really liked the tones of the two, they seemed very close to what we see in the references.

Segundo algumas fontes, a AK baseou os tons das cores no set nas pesquisas de  Nick 'Straggler' Millman. Então, mesmo que elas podem não estar 100% corretas, foram baseadas em um estudo. As outras quatro cores são o AK 2063: D1 Deep Green Black e AK 2066: Q1 Anti-glare Blue-Black que vemos aplicados acima.

Abaixo temos o  AK 2064: D2 Green Black e o clássico AK 2065: C2 Trainer Yellow usado em aeronaves de treinamento.

According to some information AK based the color tones on the set in the research of Nick 'Straggler' Millman. So, even though they may not be 100% correct, they were based on a study. The other four colors are AK 2063: D1 Deep Green Black and 0 AK 2066: Q1 Anti-glare Blue-Black that we see applied above.

Below we have the AK 2064: D2 Green Black and the classic AK 2065: C2 Trainer Yellow used in training aircraft.

Para concluir podemos dizer que o set da AK Interactive é um ótima opção para quem precisa de um set pronto e com praticamente todas as tintas que serão necessárias para representar as aeronaves da IJN. A qualidade da tinta é boa, com ótima cobertura e acabamento acetinado, conforme outras da mesma marca que já testamos. O que ainda falta, na minha opinião, era pelo menos um dos tons "metálicos" do primer Aotake.

To conclude we can say that the AK Interactive set is a great option for those who need a ready set and with practically all the paints that will be needed to represent IJN's aircraft. The quality of the paint is good, with great coverage and satin finish, according to others of the same brand that we have already tested. What is still missing, in my opinion, was at least one of the "metallic" tones of the primer Aotake.
