Mais um livro relacionado a aviação que acabei de ler. Trata-se da história do Embraer 110 Bandeirante e a criação da Embraer, hoje a terceira maior fabricante de aeronaves do mundo! São 320 páginas que conta a história do avião, mas também a história do seu principal idealizador, o senhor Ozires Silva. Uma viagem por alguns anos de ideias, desenvolvimento, engenharia e muito suor de vários personagens muito importantes nessa saga.

Another aviation-related book I just read. This is the story of the Embraer 110 Bandeirante and the creation of Embraer, today the third largest aircraft manufacturer in the world!

There are 320 pages that tell the story of the plane, but also the story of its main creator, Mr. Ozires Silva. A journey through some years of ideas, development, engineering and a lot of sweat from several very important characters in this saga.

Infelizmente o livro está disponível somente em português, mas o mesmo deu origem a um curta de animação (acima) que pode ser visto no Youtube e resume um pouco do que podemos ler no livro.

Além da história, o livro é bem ilustrado com fotos da época e perfis de várias versões e operadores do inesquecível Bandeirante.
