WALKAROUND: Trator CASE LA 1940

A J.I Case & Companhia é uma das mais antigas fabricantes de tratores, tendo sido fundada em Rochester, Wisconsin, EUA em 1842 por Jerome Case. Em 1869, eles construíram seu primeiro motor a vapor e em 1892 viu seu primeiro trator agrícola Case. Ao longo dos anos, eles expandiram suas linhas de implementos e tratores, muitas vezes, comprando outras empresas.
Nos anos 40 e 50 a empresa lançou uma série de muito sucesso chamada a "Série das Letras", tendo os tratores batizados com siglas como VC, SC, VA etc...
J.I Case & Company is one of the oldest tractor manufacturers, having been founded in Rochester, Wisconsin, USA in 1842 by Jerome Case. In 1869 they built their first steam engine and in 1892 saw their first Case agricultural tractor. Over the years, they have expanded their implement lines and tractors, often buying other companies.
In the 40's and 50's the company launched a very successful series called "Series of Letters", having tractors named after VC, SC, VA etc...

O modelo deste walkaround é um LA, que foi o maior trator Case da época com motor de 51 HP. Foi vendido entre 1940 e 1953. Muitos dos tratores desta série foram usados pelas as forças armadas americanas durante a II GM.
The model of this walkaround is an LA, which was the largest Case tractor of the time with a 51 HP engine. It was sold between 1940 and '53. Many of the tractors in this series were used by the US military during II GM.

Os tratores são um tema tradicional no plastimodelismo, com várias marcas e escalas sendo representadas. Recentemente a marca Thunder lançou um trator CASE na escala 1/35 e o kit parece ser muito legal!
Tractors are a traditional theme in scale modeling, with various brands and scales being represented. Recently the Thunder brand launched a 1/35 scale CASE tractor and the kit looks really cool!
