REVIEW: Hataka African Campaign Paint Set

Sigo testando tintas acrílicas no meu hobby e mais uma vez mostro para vocês um set da Hataka, com 4 cores para a Royal Air Force durante a II Guerra Mundial.

I keep testing acrylic paints in my hobby and once again I show you a set of Hataka paints, with 4 colors for the Royal Air Force during World War II.

Esse set traz cores clássicas para o deserto da RAF, sendo o Dark Earth, Mid Stone e o difícil de acertar Azure Blue. Além é claro do Interior Green, que é usado amplamente em cockpits e interiores dos aviões ingleses do período.

This set brings classic colors to the RAF desert camo, with Dark Earth, Mid Stone and the hard to make Azure Blue. In addition, of course, the Interior Green, which is widely used in cockpits and interiors of English aircraft of the period.

Realizei os testes das tintas em uma sucata de um antigo Mig 21, procurando analisar a qualidade da tinta e principalmente as cores.

I performed the paint tests on a scrap of an old Mig 21, trying to analyze the quality of the paint and especially the colors.

Como pode se ver nas fotos abaixo a tinta tem uma boa cobertura, afinal usei somente uma demão nesse teste. Gosto bastante da tinta da Hataka por essa característica, que se destaca frente as outras "acrílicas verdadeiras" do mercado. Outra coisa que chamo a atenção é que até agora não observei grande diferença de cobertura ou performance no aerógrafo entre as cores que usei. E já tive esse problema com outras marcas.

As you can see in the photos below, the paint has a good coverage, after all I used only one coat in this test. I really like Hataka's paint for this feature, which stands out compared to other "real acrylics" on the market. Another thing that draws my attention is that until now I haven't noticed a big difference in coverage or performance on the airbrush between the colors I used. And I've had this problem with other brands.

Quanto as cores, gostei do resultado, bem próximo ao que tenho de referencias. Também gostei muito do tom de azul do Azure Blue que é uma cor bem polêmica e que é normalmente vista com diversos tons no mercado de tintas.

As for the colors, I liked the result, very close to what I have as references. I also really liked the blue tone of Azure Blue, which is a very controversial color and is usually seen in different shades in the paint market.

Para finalizar, posso afirmar e recomendar o set da Hataka como uma ótima opção para quem usa tintas acrílicas e vai fazer algum projeto da RAF no deserto.

Finally, I can affirm and recommend the Hataka set as a great option for those who use acrylic paints and are going to do some RAF project in the desert.
