WIP: HMS Obedient Tamiya 1/700 "O" Class Destroyer parte 2

Continuando com o pequeno destroyer na escala 1/700. 

Continuing with the small destroyer in the 1/700 scale.

Depois da montagem realizada durante o workshop na UPPA, começamos com a pintura, usando um primer da AMMO by Mig e as cores de camuflagem. Ainda não montei todas as peças no kit, deixando algumas no seus sprues.

After the assembly carried out during the workshop at the club headquarters, we started with painting, using an AMMO by Mig primer and the camouflage colors. I haven't assembled all the pieces in the kit yet, leaving some of them in their sprues.

Resolvi representar o HMS Obedient (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HMS_Obedient_(G48)) já que o kit também trazia o numeral deste navio. A pintura é a camuflagem de cinza claro, cinza escuro e cinza azulado ou azul, bem bonita por sinal.

I decided to represent the HMS Obedient https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HMS_Obedient_(G48) since the kit also had the numeral of this ship. The painting is a camouflage of light gray, dark gray and bluish gray or blue, very pretty by the way.

Como não sou um modelista experiente no quesito cores navais, ainda mais da Royal Navy, analisando algumas informações da internet e de outras montagens selecionei as seguintes cores: Light gray A.Mig 209 (FS36495), Blue Grey AK 2245 e Ao28 Azure Blue. Todas são cores que tenho no meu estoque, para aviação, mas que achei que ficaram próximas das minhas referências.

As I am not an experienced modeler in navy colors, especially from the Royal Navy, analyzing some information from the internet and other modellers, I selected the following colors: Light gray A. Mig 209 (FS36495), Blue Gray AK 2245 and Ao28 Azure Blue. All are colors that I have in my stock, for aviation, but that I thought were close to my references.

Pelo tamanho do modelo, a maioria do trabalho tem que ser feito no pincel, somente as capas base de cinza claro/escuro foram feitas com o aerógrafo.

Due to the size of the model, most of the work has to be done with paint brush, only the light / dark gray base layers were done with the airbrush.

Depois da base da pintura feita, com as três cores, passamos a adicionar os detalhes do modelo, como guindastes, torres de armas, botes etc...

After the base of the painting done, with the three colors, we started to add the details of the model, such as cranes, gun towers, life boats etc ...

Pintura pronta, vamos ao passo seguinte que é a primeira de mão de verniz, nesse caso X-22 da Tamiya.

Paint job ready, let's go to the next step, which is the first varnish coat, in this case X-22 by Tamiya.

Com a primeira camada de verniz podemos iniciar o weathering com washes e óleos. Um filtro aqui e acolá, ferrugem e escorridos.

With the first coat of varnish we can start weathering with washes and oils. A filter here and there, rust and dripping marks.

A partir daí é finalizar o kit, aplicando os decais e a aplicação de verniz fosco.

From there, is finish the kit, applying decals and applying matte varnish.

Mas não podemos esquecer o estaiamento do navio! E isso sim é para quem tem paciência. Não consegui boas fotos para analisar corretamente como era feito o mesmo, então tomei a liberdade de representar da melhor maneira que consegui. Com certeza alguns cabos estão faltando!

But we cannot forget the ship's cabling! And that is for those who have patience. I couldn't get good pictures to correctly analyze how it was done, so I took the liberty of representing in the best way I could. Certainly some cables are missing!

Então está concluído essa experiência naval! Mas, claro, que um modelo assim tão pequeno, para não se perder na "cristaleira" precisa de uma base bem legal. E isso é o assunto da próxima parte!

So, that naval experience is complete! But, of course, that is such a small model and for it not to get lost in the shelf, needs a very cool base. And that is the subject of the next part!
