WIP: Alenia Aermacchi/Embraer AMX A-1 1/48 Hobbyboss Parte 1

Olá Amigos! Hello!

Uma montagem muito especial no Blog, por dois motivos, primeiro que é uma montagem para um grande modelista e colega da UPPA, o Alessandro Fogaça e segundo que é de um Embraer AMX A-1!
A very special build on the Blog, for two reasons, first that it is for a great modeler and UPPA colleague and second that it is an Embraer AMX A-1!

O kit em questão, da Hobby Boss na escala 1/48, é um dos existentes no mercado para esse avião italo-brasileiro. O kit em sí é bem injetado, com PE, pneus de borracha e opção de duas pinturas da FAB. Pode-se fazer o camuflado cinza do Adelphi ou em verde do Esquadrão Poker, e aí está o meu apreço pelo tema. Esse esquadrão é baseado na Ala 4 em Santa Maria-RS, minha terra natal!
The kit in question, from Hobby Boss on a 1/48 scale, is one of the existing ones on the market for this Italian-Brazilian airplane. The kit itself is well injected, with PE, rubber tires and the option of two Brazilian Air force camos. You can do the gray camouflage or the green one of Poker squadron, and that's my appreciation for the theme. This squadron is based on Wing 4 in Santa Maria, my hometown!

No ano que eu me mudei de Santa Maria, foi o ano que as unidades da base começaram a receber os AMX. Então pude ver pouco esses caças por lá, mas estava muito acostumado com os motores a jato Viper dos EMB 326 - Xavantes daquela base aérea.
The year that I moved from Santa Maria was the year that the base units started receiving the AMX. So I could see little of these fighters there, but I was very used to the Viper jet engines of the EMB 326 - Xavantes from that air base.

Aproveitando esse post segue algumas fotos da base aérea daquela cidade durante os eventos "Portões Abertos" em 2007 e seus AMX.

Mas voltando à montagem, o kit é relativamente bom, mas apresenta menos detalhes e acuracidade que o kit da Kinetic. Mesmo assim, considero uma boa opção para que está procurando montar esse avião em particular. Comecei pelo cockpit, é claro, que tem bom nivel de detalhes, com PEs para os cintos, HUD e retrovisores. O painel é decorado com decais.
But back to the build, the kit is relatively good, but it has less details and accuracy than the Kinetic kit. Even so, I consider it a good option for those looking to assemble this particular plane. I started with the cockpit, of course, which has a good level of detail, with PEs for the seat belts, HUD and mirrors. The panel is decorated with decals.

Já finalizei o cockpit, incluindo wash e weathering. O mesmo com as partes internas do trem de pouso.
I finished the cockpit, including wash and weathering. The same with the internal parts of the landing gear.

Depois é questão de colar o cockpit na fuselagem, não esquecer de adicionar os pesos necessários no nariz, detalhar os porões dos trens de pouso e podemos fechar a fuselagem.
Then it's a matter of glue the cockpit on the fuselage, don't forget to add the necessary weights to the nose, detail the landing gear bays and we can close the fuselage.

Em seguida podemos montar as asas e mais algumas peças. O kit monta relativamente bem, mas precisa de uma massa aqui e alí.
Then we can assemble the wings and some more pieces. The kit assembles relatively well, but you need a putty here and there.

Preciso ainda finalizar o cockpit, montar o HUD em PE, alguns detalhes no canopy e mascarar tudo para seguir adiante.

I still need to finish the cockpit, build the HUD in PE, some details in the canopy and mask everything to move on.

Acabamento com massa e lixa e passamos para o primer da AMMO by Mig.
Finishing with putty and sandpaper and moved to the AMMO by Mig primer.
