WIP: Boeing B 17F Flying Fortress 1/72 Parte FINAL - The return!

Finalmente! Viva! A Boeing B-17F "Memphis Belle" está finalizada! Depois de dois anos de montagem e um ano parada ela ficou pronta! 

Essa foi a montagem mais longa que já fiz e posso dizer que o kit da Academy não ajudou muito, mas mesmo com todos os percalços o resultado final do modelo montado é bom. Então, como já tinha dito em outros posts, esse kit tem prós e contras e o modelista deve pesar bem eles na hora de iniciar esse projeto. Eu somente encararia novamente esse desafio caso tivesse que montar as versoes iniciais da B-17, mas iria comprar o interior de resina, hélices, trens de pouso, rodas e decais.

Mas enfim, fica aí as fotos finais do modelo! 

Finally! Yes! The Boeing B-17F "Memphis Belle" is finished! After two years of building and a year off the bench, it is ready!

This was the longest build I've ever done and I can say that the Academy kit didn't help much, but even with all the troubles the final result of the model is good. So, as I said in other posts, this kit has pros and cons and the modeler must avaluate them well when starting this project. I would only face this challenge again if I had to build the initial versions of the B-17, but I would buy the resin interior, propellers, landing gear, wheels and decals.

But anyway, here are the final photos of the model!
